Come and take a long weekend in California with Jory Brigham and his team.

Work in Jory's shop, learn some new skills, connect with like-minded people, and take home a piece you learned to make. Each piece turns out a little bit different than the next as you hone in on your style and get inspired by your surroundings. There's something so special about using your hands to create.

WHAT You WILL LEARN IN CLASS

The Jory Brigham Workshop is a 2.5 day course at Jory's shop in Paso Robles, California where you will have a hands-on course learning an array of techniques that can help expand and enhance your skills in woodworking, concrete, and even metal work. While most of the focus is on woodworking, it is our belief that if we can get you thinking outside the box of normal furniture design by teaching you about other materials then you will have the tools to create your own unique style.

MEALS

The shop will open at 8:00 with coffee and pastries, but we suggest eating breakfast beforehand.  Lunch will be provided Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday evening we would love to invite you to a BBQ on the workshop property. This will be a chance to get to know everyone a bit better, and is optional if you want to make other plans. We will be providing dinner on Saturday night as well, but if you prefer to venture out there are many wonderful restaurants in the area that we would be happy to recommend for you. We will do our best to accommodate tastes, however, we cannot guarantee arrangements for special diet restrictions.

ATTIRE

Please check the weather for Paso Robles before joining us. We have some high highs and fairly low lows. Please dress comfortably, ready to work, and get dirty. The shop does have a tendency to be fairly chilly in the mornings and evenings, so layers are good.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING...

As far as lodging goes, we've had great reviews by participants of the workshop who have stayed at Air B and B's for as low as $50 a night. We have also had people share places to stay to cut down on the costs.

Here are some links to some hotels in the area that are closest to the workshop location. These are also good locations to enjoy Paso Robles.

Paso Robles Inn (great location within walking distance to the main square of town, but a bit pricey)
